In 2011 I started studying Manual Therapy and chose for the method of the Utrechtse School, also called the method of Van der Bijl. Characteristics of this method are that it is a soft approach with little force is generally painless.

Moreover because the human body is always individual there are no standard procedures, but personal treatment is applied based on distinct movement and or body shape.

What makes this method different then other manual therapy methods is the fact there won’t any “cracking” of the joints. Instead of that the therapist applies light pressure. Beause of this the treatment often is painfree. For more information please read the patient informationbrochure, “Kraken? Het kan ook anders”.
